Introducing
GospelConnect
Adult Sunday School for ECPC
GospelConnect. Why? It describes what we are about:
A New Approach. We will be using a variety of formats, with ample opportunity for large and small group interaction, including panel discussions and personal testimonies. You’ll see many different leaders and teachers, each carefully chosen in light of the day’s topic.
So what is GospelConnect all about?
It’s about learning to follow Christ, together, in Community. It’s a place for you to make new friends and find a place where you belong at ECPC. It’s about helping one another to become faithful disciples of Jesus, sharing our struggles, our doubts, and our joys together. It’s a place to gather around the study of God’s Word, relating it to your own life situation, and allowing it to change what you think and value and do. It’s about exploring some of the gifts the Lord has given to you, in a place that will support you as you begin to exercise them.
Fall Series 2010
Sunday Mornings at 10:45 a.m.
Life-Changing Conversations Room B217
Sometimes a conversation with someone will literally change your life (for better or for worse) - you are not the same afterwards. It was certainly that way when Jesus interacted with people. Some went away angry or sorrowful; others found forgiveness, healing, and new life. In this series we'll look at the Gospel stories, drawing out timeless principles of how the Master meets and talks with people that can shape our own conversations with others.
Old Testament Gospel: Studies in Isaiah the Prophet Room B216
Come join us as we turn to the Old Testament and study the message of Isaiah. Written some seven centuries before Christ, this extraordinary prophet saw the Savior, who would come as the Suffering Servant, and pointed the way to Him. We will spend the first three weeks doing a survey of the Old Testament, followed by weekly studies in portions of Isaiah.
