Sundays at ECPC

“We are all mere beggars telling other beggars where to find bread.”
-- Martin Luther

We’re a community of imperfect people. We are teachers, engineers, parents, nurses, gardeners, retirees, students, runners, readers, cooks, grandpas, secretaries, musicians, and more. We all have different stories, but those stories intersect at the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are passionate about moving the truths of His gospel beyond our heads and out of the sanctuary and into our hearts, our relationships, and our community.

Time & Place

We meet at 4616 Roswell Road in Marietta, Georgia, at 10:30 a.m. We ask that you please arrive early in order to help us get everyone seated on time. Our worship service lasts about 75 minutes. Communion is offered on the second Sunday of the month during the worship service. During the summer communion is served on the second and fourth Sundays.

Nurseries are available during worship service for children from birth through age 4, and our Gospel Kids worship program is available for kids in pre-k through 5th grade.

Parking

Guest parking is available right up front. You can enter through the glass-front atrium at the front of the building, or if you have young children to drop off in our nurseries, you can drive around to the nursery entrance on the side of the building. Handicap-accessible parking is available in the parking spaces closest to the sanctuary.

Little Lambs and Gospel Kids

Our Lambs classes are for our youngest children (birth through age 4). These classrooms open at 10:15 for drop off. Classes are divided by age (infants, toddlers, and children who turned 2 or 3 by Sept. 1). Greeters (and other parents) will be available to help point you in the right direction.

Gospel Kids is our worship experience for children in pre-k through 5th grade. Your kids will join us for the first part of the worship service in the sanctuary, then can go to Gospel Kids during the offering. First time visitors should escort their kids to our check in table in the hall in the atrium, and your kids can either follow the crowd of children from there, or you are welcome to walk them to their class. Whether your children go to Gospel Kids or stick with you, they are warmly welcomed at ECPC.

First time guests should fill out a guest information sheet so that we can help get your children to the right class.

All of the adults who serve with our children are members of ECPC who have been through our application process and background check.

Our worship service

Join us in the atrium, grab a cup of coffee, and chat with some of our friendly greeters before the service. If you want to drop off kids or head into the sanctuary to grab a seat, they can get you to where you need to be. If you arrive early, you’ll have no trouble finding a place to sit. If you arrive a little late, our ushers can help direct you to an open spot.

Worship style

Our Sunday morning worship service exists to bring glory and honor to God by worshipping Him in spirit and in truth through traditional hymns, praise songs, confessions, creeds, Scripture reading, and the preached word of God. We are blessed with a team of talented musicians and vocalists who serve our congregation by leading us in worship each week. Our blended worship style means you’ll hear new and contemporary songs as well as beloved, traditional hymns.
